In the third quarter of 2024, the top communication apps on the Android platform in France demonstrated varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Snapchat from Snap Inc showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $50K in early July and climbing to approximately $61K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at about 77K in mid-August, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 8.5M.

Azar: Video Chat & Meet People from Hyperconnect LLC saw steady revenue with minor fluctuations, ranging between $29K and $38K over the quarter. Weekly downloads experienced a slight decline, starting from 10K and ending around 8K, while active users remained consistent, averaging around 79K.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out by Discord Inc. had a variable revenue trend, reaching a high of $41K in early August before settling at around $39K by the end of the quarter. Downloads increased gradually, reaching a peak of 30K in late August, while active users steadily grew from 3.5M to 3.7M.

Onoff from Onoff Telecom displayed a gradual increase in revenue, beginning at $28K and rising to about $34K by the end of September. Downloads decreased significantly from 4K to less than 1K, and active users saw a decline from 11K to approximately 8.6K.

Telegram by Telegram FZ-LLC experienced a notable rise in revenue, peaking at about $19K in early September. Downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching over 140K in August and then tapering off to 65K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining an average of 2.5M.
